In the heart of the 1040 window, 1040 Impact chooses to operate 4 safe houses directed by a team of 27 full time staff serving 416 girls ages 7 to 18. Educating, feeding, and career training for a better life beyond the pain of human trafficking.
1040Impact, founded in 2018 by Michael D. Butler and a compassionate board business leaders, is making an impact in the 1040 Window including, rescue, education, church planting, digging clean water wells, evangelism and disciple ship in Pakistan with offices based in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma USA and Bangkok Thailand.

We run 4 safe houses with a team of 27 full-time staff. Right now, we care for 416 girls, ages 7 to 18. We give them:

Healthy food
School education
Job training
So they can grow strong and have a better life.

Since 2017 Caring for Our Kids at the Safe House flash forward to 2025 to 416 girls being cared for on a daily basis in Asia
What began as supporting the safe house kids who were orphaned as a result of the Joseph Colony Fire that killed nearly 200 Christians in 2013 google: Joseph Colony Fire Asia on YouTube. We’ve been feeding, clothing and educating first 55 kids then that has grown, over time, to 416 kids today and 27 full-time staff, our team (family) on the ground. Each year our numbers grew as we rescue more girls all without parents and all in desperate need of medical, spiritual and educational care from a loving family. Most of them, not all of them, but most of them had been trafficked for sex.
1040 Impact is a faith-based nonprofit organization founded in 2018 by Michael D. Butler and a team of compassionate business leaders. Our mission is to rescue, restore, and empower vulnerable children—especially girls—trapped in human trafficking across the 10/40 Window, one of the most unreached and underserved regions on Earth.
